Yeah, so I made an appointment with psychological services. I mean, it’s free, and I figured I should talk to a professional. I mean, I don’t think there’s necessarily anything wrong with me other than a strong (controlling) need for companionship, but meh. I just feel like my being single is bothering me more than it should… rationally, I can and should wait for the right person… it’s just that emotionally I’m having trouble dealing with it.

In other news, I’ve gotten a bit more done as far as 312 goes. Then I realized I have an 18100 exam and a 21301 exam this week. Not too worried about the combinatorics… lowest exam grade is dropped, and my other two were both As, so I can only do better. 18100 shouldn’t be too terrible either, just a little worried about capacitors.

Hurrah for getting nothing done over Carnival weekend. But I did have lots of fun, and that’s what the weekend is for, I guess.

So I’ve been bad today and spent the past 8 hours making Ukranian easter eggs:

I really need to do homework tonight, and come up with alternates for photo history, since I probably won’t get it…

Despite today being lots of fun and amazing, I still feel like complete crap.

Woke up late, got some homework done, headed down to watch the buggy prelims. Watched them setup the Mobot course. Watched the race. The races were actually quite disappointing this year. Only two of the robots got beyond gate 2 (only 1 of the others got through gate 1). The two were pretty impressive though… one made it all the way to the end then made a mistake at the decisionpoint between gates 13 and 14… 14 is the final gate in the course… so yeah. The other one took the hill too fast and missed the decisionpoint for gate 9 completely, which caused it to get confused at the next decisionpoint.

Then spent most of the rest of the day with Alisa and Steve. Watched some TV, and then headed to squill to see Thank You for Smoking. One of the best movies I’ve ever seen… highly recommended. See it, dammit!

Afterward, went to see Orgazmo at Alisa’s apartment (hilarious film) and got yummy good at halfprice.

I should go to bed soon.

Well, KGB’s booth was finished in time, and it looks amazing. Wheee. I am strangely exhausted after today… woke up, did laundry, had free BBQ, went to work on booth, had more free BBQ, went to Kiltie concert, walked around booths, had free BBQ, had a nap, went back to Midway and looked at booths again, got coffee with Alisa and Steve, looked at booths some more… whee. Yay for lots of free food all around campus. I think my meals over the past two days have consisted entirely of cheeseburgers and hot dogs though, between the three meals today and the free BBQ yesterday afternoon. Meh. Maybe it’ll help me gain some weight.

I really need to buy allergy pills. Gaah at allergies.

Bridget and the J-Boys’ CD isn’t that bad either. Some of the songs on there are quite good, actually. That you’ll have to get from Bridget or something if you didn’t get it today at their live performance. Wheee.
