So *that’s* what it feels like to be slightly drunk.
Bumping into objects all the time while walking is interesting… it’s like puberty all over again.
Note to self: 3 drinks in under half an hour is probably a bad idea, just for future reference.
But whee, my company has the best all-hands meetings. Lots of tasty food and tons and tons of booze.

So whoever came up with this idea is brilliant…
Back in Pittsburgh, one time while shopping at Giant Eagle, I got a register coupon for some amount off one bottle of this new 100% juice stuff (I had been buying a lot of juice, stupid tracking buying habits). So I figured, “Eh, why not?” and bought a bottle the next time with the coupon, only to receive a coupon for slightly more than twice as much off two bottles of the same juice.
Naturally, I had to do it and, of course, when I did I got a coupon for slightly more than 1.5x off three bottles.
The same thing has been happening here at Safeway. Once while shopping I got a coupon for like $0.30 off one package of lean pockets. When I used it, I got a coupon for $0.75 off two packages of lean pockets. I am now in possession of a coupon for $1.25 off any three packages of lean pockets. Tricky tricky.
I’m half tempted to keep buying them just to see if/when they stop. Maybe I’ll get a coupon evenually for like $100 off 150 packages or something >_<
I think I’m going to be getting lean pockets again next time I shop.

Well, I saw my first rare enemy in PSOBB today: A Del Rappy.
Unfortunately, we killed it but we were all hit/frozen by the Merissa A such that we couldn’t hit it when it woke up… so no rare for us :(
In other news, holy crap episode 4 is pretty, but with huge monsters like Goran Detonator who will teleport around and hit you from literally across the room (a large Caves-sized room for those people who have only played ep 1), it’s hard as hell.
Also, this thing is insane. Also, you fight it in a room with wind that blows you around and oftentimes prevents you from walking where you want.
Didn’t even try the ep4 boss(es). Figured we had no chance to survive (make our time).
I love how I originally wanted to get into PSOBB just to take screenshots for the RPG Get! TCG but I’m becoming just as obsessed with it as I was back in middle school (with v1 on the Dreamcast). Online multiplayer PS goodness FTW.
Some of you may remember me mentioning plans for an RPG-based card game in this post almost 3 years ago.
Well, I’ve been gaining interest in it again (of course when I don’t have any game systems or TVs accessible, much less the games themselves or a means to take screenshots of them) and I hacked together a few cards today to try and get a feel of what the game will feel like. I also polished up the rules a bit… hopefully they’re more balanced and fair now.
(Cards are, of course, not finalized and whatever, but meh).
This’ll be awesome if I keep working on it and don’t lose interest :D
