Life

It seems I’m writing in here more and more sporatically. This is probably a good thing.

Stuff’s been happening over the past few days. Alisa had a birthday party and there was much yummy Cheesecake Factory fooding. She’s uploaded piccars to Facebook, so you should go see them.

Went to develop the 6 rolls I shot for my color photo final, and many of them came out awesomely. Spent about 3.5 hours scanning negatives today. Ended up with around 58 total images, and the requirement for the final was only 10-15 images, so I think I’m set.

There was the most beautifully awesome sunset the other day, and the only camera I had with me was my film… but meh, here’s the picture.

There’s the awesomeness that is Elise (of whom you cannot take a bad picture)

and Todd-in-a-window

and nwf-at-work

Whee

I still haven’t really started graphics.
This is probably a very bad thing, given it’s due in 4 days.

*sigh*

Last week. Let’s hope I don’t screw this up.

Edit: No, I didn’t photoshop any of those images except to remove dust and scratches. All colors are (more or less) as they were seen.

  1. Replying to your comment:

I don’t. Yet. I’m just setting my sights on Julian and have been for some time and he’s devoted to not noticing.

  2. wow… the colors in those photos are gorgeous. Did you saturate them in photoshop or something?

  3. That is a beautiful sunset, and I am in shock at how alive your pictures of people look. I’m used to portraits looking more like poses than people. Terrific colors in each of those pictures.

  4. (Here’s me failing to notice the “Read/Leave Comments” link on your Live Journal feed. This comment should have gone here.)

Wow… very interesting colors! Did you use slide film or ask them to push process regular film? I almost never have contrast like that in my shots.
