I don’t know if anyone has heard about this yet, but this is absolutely insane.
This administration = epic, epic fail.
Then again, what do you expect from people who still insist that global warming isn’t real and that the polar bears aren’t endangered. :-\ (Oh, they’re used to living in the water… they don’t need landmass/ice floats to survive, really.)

Since they are so lax in protecting the environment, perhaps we should call them “laxatives”.
I’m not sure I understand the decision. The plan is to reduce administrative overhead by just not having experts determine what to protect? I think there are better ways to cut through bureaucracy than to eliminate scientists from the process (if that is really their goal). The way I read it, this basically allows the government to do whatever they want in that respect, right?
