I’ve been playing Baten Kaitos Origins lately (since it arrived before Baten Kaitos). I am a huge HUGE fan of the battle system… it’s partially real-time, but so much more strategic than most real-time systems. I now have three RPGs I’m in the process of playing (Baten Kaitos, Baten Kaitos Origins, and Evolution Worlds).
